Into Eternity Tap Female Singer For Upcoming Shows

Posted by on January 23, 2012

Back in November, Into Eternity announced that they were looking for a touring singer. While vocalist Stu Block was still a member, the Canadian prog/death metal group needed a singer to perform with while Block was preoccupied with his current gig with Iced Earth. And now it looks like the found their fill in.

Into Eternity announced this past weekend that they have tapped Amanda Kiernan, singer of The Order Of Chaos, to sing on their upcoming shows. Kieran had the following to say about her new gig:

“This is a wonderful opportunity for me that I couldn’t pass up. I look forward to this experience. However, The Order Of Chaos will remain my number one priority.”

While we ourselves aren’t that familiar with The Order Of Chaos, we check out a few live videos on YouTube and without a doubt Kiernan has a hell of a voice. Kiernan will reportedly be making her debut with Into Eternity at the Manitoba Metalfest on February 24 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

In the meantime, the band recently posted an audio teaser of a new song called “Fukushima.” The full single is expected to come out sometime in February. You can hear the snippet, as well as see rehearsal footage, in the video after the jump.
