Due to scheduling conflicts with Slipknot, Joey Jordison has left Rob Zombie’s touring band. Jordison has been touring with Zombie for a year now. Zombie has tapped former Marilyn Manson drummer Ginger Fish (real name: Kenneth Robert Wilson) to be the band’s new full time drummer. Zombie confirmed the news via Twitter, tweeting in two separate posts:

“Well we got our new drummer. I’m sure you already guessed it.”

“I thought the word was out. New drummer is Ginger Fish. The band just got even weirder.”

Fish filled in for Jordison on Zombie’s U.S. dates in February when the drummer had prior commitments with his other band, Murderdolls, in Europe. Before that, Fish had been Marilyn Manson’s long time drummer. But shortly after his gigs with Zombie, Fish announced his departure from the Manson band.

A picture of Zombie with his current lineup, featuring Fish (on the far left), arriving at the Revolver Golden Gods Award Show this past week can be seen above. You can also check out multiple videos of Fish performing with Zombie in Santa Cruz back in February after the jump.
