Breaking Benjamin Announce Return

Posted by on August 21, 2014

It appears that Breaking Benjamin are back, according to a new teaser video posted to the bands official Facebook account. There aren’t a lot of details given, except for “#bbisback” and “Coming soon,” along with a new line-up.

Founding guitarist and vocalist Benjamin Burnley will be joined by ex Adelitas Way guitarist Keith Wallen, ex Red guitarist Jasen Rauch, bassist Aaron Bruch, and ex Picture Me Broken drummer Shaun Foist.

The band went on hiatus back in 2010, due to Burnley’s health issues. Then guitarist Aaron Fincke and bassist Mark Klepaski were fired in 2011 by Burnley for their dealings with Hollywood Records, notably a remix of the song Blow Me Away, without his knowledge.

In an April 2013 blog post Burnley announced he retained the Breaking Benjamin name, the legal issues were behind him, and “Breaking Benjamin will continue.” Now, almost a year and a half later and five years since their last studio album, Dear Agony, Breaking Benjamin are back.
