AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson and Malcom McDowell were booked to do back to back interviews on Sirius XM’s Opie & Anthony radio show for separate reasons. Johnson was there to promote his new book Rockers And Rollers: A Full-Throttle Memoir, while McDowell was there to talk about the 40th anniversary of A Clockwork Orange. Sounds like the most random pairing of bookings in the world, right?

Well, it turns out that not only were the two old friends, but they even collaborated with each other on a musical that never saw the light of day. So at this moment you’re probably wondering to yourself “How in the (highway to) hell did these two come to work together on (of all things) a musical?” Next, you’re probably wondering what a musical composed by the thespian actor and the “Back In Black” singer would even sound like. Well, you can find out for yourself by listening to audio snippets of the two’s run in on Opie & Anthony. Up top, you can hear the two discussing their old friendship, while you can hear Johnson and McDowell sing  “It’s Good To Be God” together after the jump.
