In case you didn’t know what band we were referring to

So more autotune, perhaps? All That Remains have announced that their new record is expected to hit record stores (and the internet) in September 2012.

In a press release, All That Remains front man Phil Labonte discussed the new album titled The War You Can Not Win:

So we’re gonna release a new disc in the fall and it’s called ‘A War You Can Not Win’. We really busted our asses and tried to do some new stuff (like we always do) and we’re really happy about what came out of it. Some of it is pretty different and is REALLY gonna blow you guys away. Some of it is gonna sound just like what you expect from ATR. And I’m sure all of it is gonna make the internet have a conniption fit! Release is gonna be this fall and we’re already working on a co-headline tour to show some of it off!

The recordings for their seventh album, which the band began writing for shortly after their 18-month tour in support of their previous album For We Are Many, reunited them with megaproducer Adam D.

If their former work is any indication, great things are to be expected of the new one. The band’s last album, For We Are Many, debuted at #10 on the Billboard chart, and has sold more than 890,000 albums to date.

However, If you don’t want to wait until fall, they’ll be playing four shows this Summer:

7/1 Summerfest, Milwaukee WI
8/4 Bull Run Park Special Events Center, Centreville VA
8/10 Mojoes, Joliet IL
8/11 WIIL Rock Fest, Twin Lakes WI
