When Affiance drop their second full length album, The Campaign, this November, it’ll have a high-profile guest helping out. August Burns Red fbassist Dustin Davidson showed up to lend some vocals to the album. “Just finished up a guest vocal spot for the new Affiance album!,” he said on his Instagram account.  ”It sounds super tight! I went higher than ever before.”

It’s not known what song Davidson contributed to, other than that it isn’t “You Will Be Replaced.”  That song, which will be on The Campaign, is currently streaming on Alternative Press and is available for purchase at your finer online retailers. The Campaign will be out on November 13, or one week after the “other” campaign wraps up.

Meanwhile, August Burns Red have let “Flurries” fly. That song, taken their forthcoming holiday album, August Burns Red Presents: Sleddin’ Hill, A Holiday Album, is streaming online. With the exception of some relatively cheesy-sounding synth bells, there’s nothing really that holiday-like about it, but it’s a cool, inspirational-sounding track. Of course the inspiration for the band’s holiday album probably came from the great reception their cover of “Carol of the Bells,” which will be on the album, got when it was released in 2008. Check out “Flurries” below, and get in the holiday spirit when the album is released on October 9.
