Metalocalypse co-creator Brendon Small has been working on a “high stakes intergalactic extreme rock album” for a while now. And with the album set to be released in April (to coincide with the season four premiere of Metalocalypse), we knew it was only a matter of time till we’d hear our first taste of Brendon Small’s Galaktikon.

And thanks to CraveOnline, the wait is finally over. The site has premiered a new song off of Galaktikon called “On My Way.” While the riffs share some resemblance to Dethklok, the most noticeable difference comes from Small’s clean vocals (a big contrast from Nathan Explosion’s death growl). In a nut shell, “On My Way” is a solid melodic metal tune.

Don’t just take our word for it though. Give “On My Way” a listen in the player after the jump (courtesy of CraveOnline).
