Korn are about to embark on their 20th anniversary tour of their debut album – starting tomorrow! They’ve released 10 studio albums since that self-titled record came out, and now there’s word that Korn are working on a follow up to their 2013 album The Paradigm Shift.

Said James “Munky” Shaffer in an interview with Billboard:

“We’re working on new music.

I’d say we’re about a third of the way done. We wrote about 20 songs and about 10 of those we’ve kept and made better. I think we’re gonna need to go back in and write another batch of songs and then fine-tune those into four, five really great songs. There’s no rush, which feels great. It’s time to take a little extra time and make a great album. I think it’s time to solidify our legacy, ’cause I’m really proud of it.”

In addition to tour with Suicide Silence and Islander next month, Korn will also be releasing a commemorative book to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their self-titled debut, their first of several Platinum selling albums.
