If you were in the know, you’ve likely already heard Zeal and Ardor’s Devil Is Fine. The album, which came out internationally last year and was on Soundcloud for much of that time, will be getting a physical release this Friday (24) on MVKA. The brainchild of Swiss musician Manuel Gagneux, it essentially imagines negro spirituals about Satan instead of the lord. Elements of black metal, delta blues and even electronic music make their way into the band’s sound, and it’s a completely original sound. While Gagneux recorded the whole album himself, he’s since fleshed things out and hired a band. If you’re attending Psycho Las Vegas, you’ll get a chance to witness the band’s first-ever live show in the U.S. In the meantime, check out the album.

Devil Is Fine will be released on February 24th on MVKA. You can preorder it here.
