While At The Gates have been busy with their new album and Entombed has been busy making fans beg for a new album, members from both bands have apparently found the time for a side project. Akani is a new group featuring guitarist Anders Björler (At The Gates), bassist Victor Brandt (Entombed), Jorge Rosado (Merauder), and Anders Lowgren (Dead Reprise).

Naturally, you’d expect something good to come out of this, and judging by this debut track “Who’s To Blame?”, it seems like that’s the case. The full-length debut titled Santa Muerte will be out in May of this year on Demons Run Amok Entertainment.
