Moon Tooth want you to meet their Queen Wolf

Posted by on November 23, 2015

We’ve dug Long Island band Moon Tooth for a while now. Technical, melodic and shreddy without being wanky, we were more than happy to catch up with guitarist Nick Lee, who also finds time to play in Riot as their newest guitarist, as well as talk about their tour with Godmaker last month. The band’s debut full-length, Chromaparagon, will be out on February 5th, and today they premiered, via Metal Sucks, the first song from it. “Queen Wolf” is a nice example of what the four-piece is capable of. The band’s bio compares vocalist John Carbone’s voice to Jeff Buckley, and he certainly has one hell of a range.

If you’re in the northeast, you’ll get a chance to see them before the album comes out, so you can tell people one day that you saw Moon Tooth before their album came out. You can preorder it here, and catch them at the following dates:

Dec 4 – Bayshore, NY @ Even Flow
Dec 5 – Brooklyn, NY @ The Acheron
Dec 18 – Northampton, MA @ Hinge
Dec 19 – New Paltz, NY @ Snugs
Dec 20 – Boston, MA @ O’Brien’s
Dec 23 – Amityville, NY @ Amityville Music Hall
Jan 14 – Amityville, NY @ Revolution Br
Jan 17 – Philadelphia, PA @ Connie’s Ric Rac
