While there’s already been a release date, a tour and a guest vocalist bandied about for Soulfly’s Enslaved, some more information is trickling out. The most significant development is that Max Cavalera and Mark Rizzo’s rhythm section has changed. Former Static-X bassist Tony Campos and former Borknagar drummer David Kinkade have joined the band. And while Dez Fafara’s inclusion on the album had already been documented, Cattle Decapitation’s Travis Ryan is also on the album. This goes hand in hand with Soulfly’s last several albums, which tend to have two guest vocalists on them. 2009′s Omen featured Prong’s Tommy Victor and The Dillinger Escape Plan’s Greg Puciato. It would’ve been cool if they lined up Enslaved’s Grutle Kjellson for a guest spot. You know, because the album’s called Enslaved? No? Anyone? At any rate, the album is out on March 13th, and you can check out their tour dates here.
