You might not be familiar with Vexes, but you probably have a working knowledge of some of it’s members. Featuring former members of A Life Once Lost, Fury of Five, Vessl and Downstage, the New Jersey band draws influences from a number of post-metal influences including Cave-In, Helmet and Thrice. They’re all apparent on “Lift,” the first single from their debut album Ancient Geometry. You won’t be able to hear the full length until early 2018 when it’s released, but Metal Injection premiered “Lift” yesterday.
