It has been nearly three months since the passing of Chris Cornell and while his music will live on for generations to come, the singer’s widow, Vicky Cornell, has plans for a memorial devoted to his life and career. She is preserving his legacy by hiring the sculptor, Wayne Toth – who created the statue of Johnny Ramone,  to create a statue of him and to be placed somewhere in Seattle.  Vicky told The Seattle Times about Toth:

“He has already given me a design and the children and I love it.”

She also mentioned welcoming fans to suggest a location:

“He is Seattle’s son, and we will be bringing him home and honoring him, I hope, with all of you, your love and support.”
