Duff McKagan recently released a book this month,”How To Be A Man (And Other Illusions),” and now it seems he’s ready to get writing again. In a recent interview with The Pulse Of Radio, McKagan revelaed that he might be working with Alice in Chains on a book of their own.

Said McKagan,

“Just last week, I talked to Sean [Inez, Alice in Chains bassist],” he said. “Friday night, we talked at length. Like, ‘If you want me to do it, now’s the time, ’cause I’m done with this book. I’ll have this summer that I can start on it, you guys are working on music, you can put your record out, put the book out…’ Like, make it a whole thing. I’m a proponent of that band, I think it’s just a victorious story.”

Wait, what’s this “you guys are working on music, you can put your record out” bit? So Alice in Chains are working on a follow up to 2013’s The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here this summer? We figured they’d start working on album number six after their tour in July, but the sooner the better! And we’ll get to hear Alice in Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell somewhat soon, too, as Deftones vocalist Chino Moreno recently said that Cantrell will be on their new album.
