This past Sunday, Avenged Sevenfold, currently on tour with Disturbed in the UK, stopped by BBC Radio 1’s Rock Show with Daniel P. Carter. The band played a four-song set at the Maida Vale studio consisting of “Hail to the King, “God Damn,” “Nightmare” and “The Stage.” Carter caught up with Synyster Gates, who enjoyed playing in the relatively intimate confines of the studio. “It was incredible, it was a lot of fun and everything sounded great in our ears,” he said. “We’ve been on tour for a little bit so we had some of the songs a bit more polished, so it was a good time.”

You’ll be able to see Avenged Sevenfold in North America on tour with Metallica this Summer.
