Kill Devil Hill were recently in the studio recording basic tracks for some new music with new drummer Johnny Kelly, presumably for a follow-up to their 2013 studio album, Revolution Rise.

Said Kelly, formerly of Type O Negative, on recording with the band for the first time:

“I’m really excited about coming on board with Kill Devil Hill. I’ve been a fan since their debut and have known the guys for a long time. It’s also clear that I have some really big shoes to fill. I’m ready for that challenge as I prepare for Kill Devil Hill’s next chapter. This is gonna be a blast!”

Kelly joined the band when founding drummer Vinny Appice left in 2014. Mixing this latest effort will be Jay Ruston, who has worked with the band before, along with Anthrax and Stone Sour.
