Ecstatic Vision, a band half-made of former A Life Once Lost members, have signed with Relapse Records.

Said vocalist and guitarist Doug Sabolick,

“We are currently recording our debut album at various studios around Philly. The album is a great mix of trance inducing primitive African tribal meets heavy psych a la Hawkwind.  We are stoked to be working hand in hand with Relapse to bring this unique album to fruition and bring our brand of heavy psych to the masses.”

Ecstatic Vision is Sabolick (formerly of A Life Once Lost) on guitars and vocals, Michael Field Connor on bass, Jordan Crouse (drummer for A Life Once Lost) playing drums and percussion, and Muffinman on percussion, as well.

Ecstatic Vision will be recording their debut full-length later this year, and planning for an early 2015 release.

A Life Once Lost broke up in 2013, after releasing Ecstatic Trance on Season of Mist in 2012.
