Over the weekend, Eyehategod frontman Mike IX Williams returned to the stage for the first time following his liver transplant last year. The band performed three consecutive shows that kicked off on Friday (14) at The Crofoot in Pontiac, MI and concluded last night (16) at Brooklyn Bazaar in Brooklyn, NY. A fan filmed the group’s entire set on Saturday’s (15) performance at the First Unitarian Church in Philadelphia, PA. It was just a few weeks ago when Mike IX discussed feeling amazing and having a lot of energy after his surgery. We can see his said exuberance in the footage below. Welcome back Mike IX!
