Josh Homme To Collaborate With Mike Patton?

Posted by Dan Rodriguez on Thu, Jun 25, 2009 at 1:49 pm

No One Knows If This'll Happen

Metal Hammer is running a story about a new “top secret” Josh Homme project for Ipecac Records, and label head Greg Werckman is hoping for a pretty mind-blowing guest:

Ipecac Records boss Greg Werckman told Rock-A-Rolla magazine: “Josh has got a new top secret project that he’s working on right now. He’s trying to get a lot of people involved in it, too, as a matter of fact he’s trying to convince Mike Patton to go out to the desert but Mike hates the desert.”

The new project may be the latest in the series of Desert Sessions discs, the last of which was released in 2003 by Ipecac records but this has not yet been confirmed.

Um…YES PLEASE.

That would be absolutely incredible, they should produce the album together and create the freshest music in the land, dammit!
