Swedish melodic death metal band Avatar has been around since 2001, but it’s taken them until now to set foot on American soil. The band, whose fourth album, Black Waltz, was their first released in America, are currently on the road with Sevendust and Lacuna Coil, but before that, they played their first-ever American show at New York’s Studio at Webster Hall. Sinestra Studio’s Derek Soto was on hand to capture the show. Check out the band’s tour dates here.
