Corrosion of Conformity have existed for well over 30 years, but took a hiatus back in 2006. When they came back in 2010, it was without singer/guitarist Pepper Keenan, who was concentrating on Down. Re-emerging with the three-piece Animosity-era lineup, they released two solid albums. However, Keenan never officially left the band, and there were rumblings that he might record a  new album and tour with them again. Earlier this year, that happened, with the band playing some European dates. It was just recently that the Deliverance-era lineup of the band hit the States for the first time, and as evidenced by a sold-out show at NYC’s Gramercy Theater, people are happy they’re back. The band just signed a deal with Nuclear Blast, and 2016  will bring us their first album with Pepper since 2006’s In the Arms of God.
