Slipknot’s Knotfest music festival lacerated through the desert grounds of San Manuel Amphitheater in San Bernardino, Calif. last weekend for three days of metal mischief. Over 50 bands of various sub-genres performed on five different stages for concertgoers and campers, including Judas Priest, Korn, Slipknot, Mastodon, Corrosion of Conformity, Clutch, Suicidal Tendencies, Kataklysm and more.

The Slipknot-centric festival hosted its third year, the second consecutive in Southern California, fittingly placed as a weekend warmup before Halloween. The destination experience offered twisted carnival attractions such as the return of the Slipknot Knotfest Museum, stilt walkers, flaming carnival games, fire-breathers and ‘Ring of Fire Carnival Ride’ to keep the metal community thoroughly entertained.
