In+UteroA release date for the 20th anniversary reissue of Nirvana’s third and final studio album, In Utero has been set. A deluxe set including previously unreleased demos, B sides, live songs and a DVD of a 1993 live performance is set to be released September 24th through Universal Music Enterprises.

The band’s breakout album Nevermind turned 20 two years ago, and was also gifted with a reissue. While hints of the In Utero reissue came earlier this month when  a small announcement was posted via Nirvana’s official Facebook page, details were not immediately clear. The re-release will include more than 70 tracks and the DVD of the full live performance Live and Loud will reportedly also be available individually outside the two-CD or three-LP packages.

In Utero was originally released in 1993 on DGC Records just two years after the 1991 release of Nevermind. Seven months after the release of the album, Kurt Cobain committed suicide in Seattle.
