Firespawn, formerly known as Fireborn, featuring members of Entombed A.D. and Necrophobic have inked a record deal with Century Media Records and have some releases in the pipeline ready to be delivered with them. Comments Firespawn’s bass player A. Impaler:

Don’t call it supergroup but this spawn of Satan combines the best of Stockholm death metal and it’s great to see a bunch of old friends coming together for just one goal: to destroy. I know some of the guys for many years and it’s an honor to help them spreading fire worldwide. The Swedish band have plans to release their debut album this November but if that’s too long for you to wait, a limited to 500 hand-numbered 7″ EP has been scheduled to be out on August 7th. titled Lucifer has Spoken which will also be available at Germany’s Party.San Open Air in an exclusive colored vinyl version (100 copies only!) that will be sold at the Cudgel sales stand on the festival grounds.
