It’s been a little while since we heard new material from Misery Index. But it looks like that about to change as the band has announced details for their fifth album and followup to 2010’s Heirs To Thievery.

The band have posted the following on Facebook:

Our new full-length will be called ‘The Killing Gods,’ out on May 23rd via Season of Mist Records. More details to follow!

This also marks the band’s first album with guitarist  Darin Morris who joined in 2010 after John “Sparky” Voyles left the band, as well as their first on Season of Mist. The band will also be playing at the Maryland Deathfest pre-fest party, which will double as the album release show, featuring Immolation, Black Breath, and Noisem.
