Old Man Gloom To Release New Album ‘NO’ While On Tour
Yesterday, Hydra Head Records teased everyone about a new album from Old Man Gloom, featuring Aaron Turner (Isis), Nate Newton (Converge, Doomriders), Caleb Scofield (Cave In), and Santos Montano (Zozobra). Earlier today, though, Turner (who also owns Hydra Head) confirmed that the sludge supergroup will indeed release a new album.
Titled NO, Old Man Gloom will first sell the album exclusively at their upcoming shows (including tomorrow night’s gig in Cambridge, MA). The group will then officially release NO on June 26. Considering that it’s been about eight years since Old Man Gloom released their last album Christmas, we can think of a crap load of fans are looking forward to getting their hands on NO.
A trailer for Old Man Gloom’s new album, along with a rundown of their upcoming shows, can be seen after the jump.
