And it’s slightly better than Soul Sucka. Ozzy Osbourne’s 10th solo album, and first with new guitarist Gus G., will be  called “Scream.” It appears the title comes from the first single, “Let Me Hear You Scream.” The song will make its debut on CSI: Miami on April 14. According to Blabbermouth, the episode is about a death row inmate at a Pennsylvania prison and the ensuing riot that traps Dr. Hawkes inside.

A few thoughts:

A) It’s hard to believe that Ozzy hasn’t called a song “Let Me Hear You Scream” yet. Ozzy’s now naming songs after his in-between-song banter. Definitely looking forward to the follow-up single “Go Fucking Crazy.”

B) Good on CSI: Miami for debuting the song during an episode. After hearing “Won’t Get Fooled Again”  so much in  the opening credits, we’re glad that CBS isn’t leaning on aging rock stars to pump life into their crime procedural dramas. Oh wait…

C) “Let Me Hear You Scream” is actually the best single Ozzy’s had in a while. Gus G. definitely livens things up, and the song’s an upbeat, fast, and heavy song that’s an instant classic.
