It’s been well known that Queens Of The Stone Age’s new album will feature guest appearances from many big names, including  Dave GrohlTrent ReznorNick Oliveri, Elton John and many others. Now we know we know a lot more about the album, including its title, which label will release it, and even a small hint at what it sounds like (thanks to audio snippets).

Titled … Like Clockwork, QOTSA’s first album since 2007’s Era Vulgaris will be released in June. The album also marks the band’s first release via new label home, Matador Records (after years of being signed to Interscope). It’s unclear whether frontman Josh Homme’s own imprint Rekords Rekords will be involved in its release in some fashion, but this is a major addition to the indie rock label’s roster.

As an added bonus, QOTSA is also streaming a series of audio snippets from … Like Clockwork via their official website. In order to hear these samples, head over to the website, click on the image of artwork (as seen above) and hit refresh and repeat. While some of the snippets feature a few seconds of actual music and others simply sound like ambient noises, it’s a small taste that has us still looking forward to hearing more from the album.
