Whitechapel Confirm Plans For EP, Cover Pantera
Last week, Whitechapel streamed a new song called “Section 8,” fueling rumors that the band would be releasing a EP. Well yesterday, the deathcore group confirmed plans to release Recorrupted on November 8. The EP will be released digitally in all outlets, while physical CDs will be sold exclusively through Metal Blade Record’s website and at the band’s upcoming shows. Though “Section 8” will be the only newly recorded song on the EP, it will also feature two remixes (one done by The Dillinger Escape Plan’s Ben Weinman), an acoustic rendition of “End Of Flesh,” and a recorded cover of Pantera’s “Strength Beyond Strength.”
