It’s been a hard few months for Chimaira. But now with a lineup finally set in stone, the band is pushing forward. The Cleveland metal group took time off from recording their new as-yet-untitled album the past few days to film a video and DVD that will coincide with the new record. Pictures from the shoot have been posted on the band’s Facebook page.

Now usually photo stills taken from a video shoot isn’t big news. However, a lot of these pictures give us our first glimpse of Chimaira’s new lineup together. In addition to the picture of the band in action seen up top, there’s also a picture of the band’s new bassist Emil Wrestler, who filled in on bass during the band’s 2010 Winter shows, practicing with new drummer Austin D’Amond. There’s also a few pictures of guitarists Rob Arnold and Matt DeVries jamming (maybe on some new tunes?).

Fans will get their first chance to see Chimaira’s new lineup live during a batch of dates scheduled to take place at the end of May. The band’s new album is expected to be released in August via eOne Records.
