While it had been somewhat unclear on where Scott Ian and Rob Caggiano stood relationship-wise  following the guitarist’s departure from Anthrax to join Volbeat, it seems the two have reconciled any possible bad blood between one another.

Ian joined Caggiano and Volbeat on stage in Los Angeles Monday in Hollywood for a performance mix of  Anthrax’s “I Am the Law” and Volbeat’s “Pool of Booze, Booze, Booza.”

Caggiano left Anthrax earlier this year citing the need to pursue his own thing, which didn’t seem to bother the Anthrax members, until news came out that Caggiano would be joining Volbeat. And while Ian is fine with it now, at least one other member of the band thought it was “sketchy.”  But what better way to announce that all is now good than with a heartfelt metal jam?
