Rumors and Gossip, Splits

Major changes are in store for Attack Attack! First, bassist John Holgado announced he was leaving the crabcore juggernauts. In a lengthy statement, Holgado revealed that he has been struggling with personal matters and that he holds no hard feelings for his former bandmates. However, less than 24 hours later, it appears that Attack Attack! have parted ways with yet another member.

According to Property Of Zack, Caleb Shomo has indeed left Attack Attack!, roughly four years after joining the group as their keyboardist and three years after becoming their permanent singer. Property Of Zack later reported that Shomo has been replaced by I Am Abomination’s Phil Druyor. However, it should be noted that an official announcement has yet to be made regarding this, and so far Shomo has only given a vague response via numerous tweets.

This past year already promised to be filled with changes for the band, as they have been considering going the DIY route with their next album. But what does this recent lineup change mean for Attack Attack!’s future? An official announcement is likely to be released soon.
