Van Halen Signs With Interscope Records?

Label Moves, Rumors and Gossip

According to fan site Van Halen News Desk, the reunited Van Halen have signed a new recording deal with Interscope Records. Inside sources are claiming that the classic rock legends have also already settled on a top secret release date for early 2012.

At this point, you may be asking yourself: “Wait, wasn’t Van Halen reportedly signing a new deal with Columbia Records?” Well, if you’ve been following the status of Van Halen’s new album, then we don’t have to tell you how many rumors have been floating around the web for the past two years now. However, this new update comes almost a week after the Grammy’s hinted (and by hinted we mean basically blurted out loud) that the reunited Van Halen would be making a “major announcement” at the nomination show.

So there’s obviously something big going on in the Van Halen camp, or at least big enough to justify an announcement on national TV. We’ll just have to wait to watch the Grammy Nominations Concert Live show on November 30 to find out for sure.
