This mainly applies to the Metal Insider readers on the eastern seaboard, so apologies to the rest of you. If you’re looking for something to do the July 4th weekend that involves metal, your plans have been answered. It had already been announced that Clutch was having a record release party on July 3 for their forthcoming album, Strange Cousins From the West (Out July 7), at the House of Blues in Atlantic City, along with Wino and Monster Magnet. Unfortunately, Monster Magnet had to drop off the bill. Fortunately, Shadows Fall have stepped in, and we can confirm that they’ll be playing on the bill as well. This might be the best 4th ever, or at least the most metal. Shadows Fall’s next album will be coming out through their own label in September.
