Slipknot bassist Paul Grey has joined the metal super group Hail! (featuring ex-Judas Priest vocalist Tim “Ripper” Owens and Sepultura guitarist Andreas Kisser). Grey will be replacing bassist Dave Ellefson, who recently rejoined Megadeth, and the band’s upcoming European tour.

Hail!, the all-star cover band featuring bassist Ellefson (ex-Megadeth), guitarist Andreas Kisser (Sepultura) and vocalist Tim “Ripper” Owens (ex-Judas Priest, Iced Earth), has announced dates for their first ever U.S. performances. Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy will be joinging them on the trek. More details here.
