I have no idea who this person is, but my 14 year-old girlfriend niece tells me Demi Lovato is huge. And according to this clip from last night’s Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, she knows her metal, name-dropping Job For A Cowboy, Abigail Williams and Insider faves Maylene and the Sons of Disaster. Watch at the 3:10 mark as Fallon asks for suggestions to book on his show.

A friend of ours does the band booking for Late Night, and he’s told us they’ve been considering featuring more hard rock/metal acts, including some big names. Hopefully we’ll see the show continue Conan O’Brien’s Late Night tradition of booking cool, smaller acts, including some rad metal.

That’s awesome. But- so funny that Jimmy Fallon knew the words to her song better than she did.

I found this on her Wikipedia page:

In an MTV interview, Lovato stated that she likes metal music, especially black metal and metalcore. She called symphonic black metal band Dimmu Borgir “one of her favorite live acts”.[15] However, she stated in a recent interview that she no longer listens to metal music, as she is in a happier place now, and listens to mellow music that inspires her writing.[16]

Citation 16 comes from an interview in February 2009…I guess someone pissed her off again if she is JFAC and Abigail Williams.

*….if she is listening to JFAC and Abigail Williams.
