The idea behind Record Store Day is a great one – get music consumers into independent record stores to pick up rare and limited-edition music from some amazing artists. It usually takes place on the third Saturday of April, but with Black Friday (11/23) the heaviest shopping day of the year, fans will have another chance to pick up some exclusive or new-to-vinyl music. As always, all genres are represented, but metal has some choice releases.
