Metal Insider’s Top 5 is a column where we count down the top five
of…well basically anything.

Previously, we’ve shared our top 5 metal themed movies. However, Vulture.com
published a piece recently called “When Rock Stars Cameo As Themselves
in Movies,” which listed the top 10 cameos from rock stars playing
themselves. Their list was solid and even featured a few metal cameos.
And though not metal, we were especially happy to see them mention Tom
Jones’ scene stealer from Mars Attacks! (as seen above).
However, we still felt that there were a few notable movie cameos made
by other metal artists that got left. So with that in mind, we’ve
compiled our own top five list of our favorite movie cameos from metal
musicians. Click on the page numbers below to see our picks, as well
as video of each appearance.
