4. Orange

OK, Orange might not be the metalest of colors, but there’s at least a few bands we can think of that incorporate it. Orange Goblin are one of our favorite stoner rock bands, and if you go back a few years, Orange 9mm was a pretty solid band as well. Biohazard feature the color in their logo, and it’s also the color of Halloween, which Helloween have incorporated both in their name and their mascot. And outside of the Marshall, there’s no amp that screams ‘retro’ more than an Orange amp. And if you really wanna stretch, Death Angel named their debut album, The Ultra-Violence, after the film/novel A Clockwork Orange (also don’t forget Sepultura’s A-Lex, a concept album inspired by the same novel).
