3. Red

It’s the color of blood (Slayer’s Raining Blood anyone?). But it’s also included in the names of bands like The Red Chord, Red Fang, August Burns Red, Crimson Glory (we’ll count it) and Christian hard rock group Red just to name a few. Plus, let’s not forget albums like Baroness’ Red Album, At The Gates’ The Red In The Sky Is Ours and Machine Head’s The Burning Red (well, maybe some would like to forget that one) to name a few, and there are two many bands to name that use the color in its logos.
