Honorable Mention: Macy Gray Covering Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters”

“Nothing Else Matters” showed a softer side to Metallica. And while the song has been covered by many, it’s Macy Gray’s jazzy rendition that caught most fans’ attention. The cover, which she has been performing live lately, was featured in her recent release Covered. While Gray’s version is a unique take on the ballad, it’s still a cover we never exactly expected to hear.
