4. Megadeth, Risk

Essentially, 1999’s Risk was to Megadeth what Load was to Metallica. In an attempt to reach a wider audience, Dave Mustaine and company set forth to create an arena rock album. In fact, the song “Crush Em” was written as a hockey anthem, and was used as WCW champion Bill Goldberg’s entrance theme (it was also used in the movie Universal Soldier: The Return starring Goldberg and Jean-Claude Van Damme). While that song in particular was used at sporting events quite a bit, longtime fans of Megadeth hated the album with a passion. In fact, Mustaine himself has even gone on to admit that the album was almost a “serious career-ending mistake”

Ozzy’s my favorite musician and even I’ll agree that Down To Earth and most of Black Rain weren’t up too par with the rest of his catalog. However,   Scream is probably one of my favorite albums by him; right behind No More Tears, Blizzard, and Diary. Anyway, I’m just glad you didn’t put Sabbath’s “Never Say Die” album on here, it may not be close to their best but it is a original-lineup Black Sabbath album, nothing beats that.
