Tour Diary

A lot was revealed yesterday in regards to the Revolver Golden Gods Awards. And in addition to performing at the award show with the likes of Metallica and others, Stone Sour will also be embarking on the Revolver Road To The Golden Gods tour.

Stone Sour will be joined by In This Moment for a 30 date national tour. While exact dates will be announced soon, the tour will kick off in March and conclude at the Golden Gods Awards (in case the tour’s name didn’t make that obvious). Stone Sour’s Corey Taylor had the following to say about the tour and awards:

“Me and the guys in Stone Sour are very excited, not only to be a part of the Golden Gods, but also to be headline the first Road To The Golden Gods Tour! The Golden Gods is the only awards show in America that truly recognizes and honors our genre; so to be a part of a tour that they sponsor is something that we are all very proud of. We’re looking forward to the tour, and looking forward to the awards ceremony. We promise we will have something special that no one will ever forget!”

Hot off the heels of releasing House Of Gold & Bones Part 1, Stone Sour is expected to release the second part of their concept album in April (with the four part comic series hitting stands on April 17). Check out the recently revealed cover artwork for House Of Gold & Bones Part 2 above.
