Drummer Jon “The Charn” Rice already has a busy year ahead of him with Job For A Cowboy’s new album Demonocracy coming out on April 10. However, Rice’s Summer is about to get even busier thanks to his new touring gig.

It’s been announced that Rice will be playing drums with 1349 during their North American tour dates this Summer. In addition to a couple of headlining shows, the Norwegian black metal group will be touring with Marduk, Withered and Weapon. This trek will also mark 1349’s first time in the States since 2010.

Rice has previously come to the aid of many bands in need of a drummer for touring, like with The Red Chord last year. But given Job For A Cowboys’ already hectic schedule (especially with the Metal Alliance Tour a day away from kicking off), 1349 are fortunate that they were able to recruit the talented drummer for their return to North America.

You can check out a rundown of 1349’s dates with Marduk, as well as headlining shows, after the jump.
