Touring

It’s been about five years since At The Gates first reunited for several shows. Besides the occasional festival appearance over the past two years, the band has kept quiet. But today, the Gothenburg metal legends announced plans to tour Latin America this July.

The trek will see At The Gates performing in Mexico, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Chile, Uruguay, Argentina and Brazil for the first time. And as previously announced, the band will be performing at the Vagos Open Air in Portugal, Resurrection Fest in Spain, Metal Camp in Slovenia, and the Brutal Assault Festival in the Czech Republic in August. However, this announcement begs to ask the question many of us want an answer to: will At The Gates be returning to North America in the near future? The 2007 North American shows were a great success, and they do seem to be adding more to their reunion plans as of late. Could it be that U.S. dates are to follow?

At this point, we can only hope. But for now, we’ll just have to wait. In case you just so happen to be traveling to Latin America or Europe this Summer, you can check out a rundown of dates At The Gates have confirmed for far after the jump, along with the tour’s video announcement.
