The Chicago doom-psych-metal band The Atlas Moth announced a 10-date European tour in late May. They were scheduled to play Hellfest in France on June 21st, then hit the road with Closet Disco Queen, but now the entire tour has been called off.

Said the band via Facebook:

“Unfortunately, with a great deal of regret, we must cancel our euro tour we had planned for the end of the month. its such a bummer but between financial and personal reasons, we just couldn’t make it happen without setting ourselves back. We will be announcing another american tour with a KILLER package in a few days and we will plan on coming back to europe next spring.”

The Atlas Moth (who just talked about touring with Metal Insider in a recent interview) toured with Between the Buried and Me back in April, so we’re excited to see this new, “KILLER package,” that they’ll be announcing in the next couple of days.
