Black Sabbath Announce Full Dates For North American Tour

Posted by on April 25, 2013

Earlier this month, Black Sabbath announced four North American dates for this coming summer. Many fans’ first reaction was “Only four?! What?!” Well, have no fear, as Black Sabbath has announced dates for a proper North American summer tour.

The tour will now kick off on July 25 at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Houston, and will include stops in Boston, Philadelphia, Detroit, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Phoenix and more. Previously announced shows included Holmdel, NJ, Toronto, Los Angeles and Seattle.

Honestly, it would’ve been more surprising if Sabbath didn’t announce more than four North American shows (their new album 13 is coming out on June 11, after all). Either way, now fans outside of New York, Toronto and Los Angeles don’t have to worry about not getting see Black Sabbath again live. And if the kick off date for Sabbath’s world tour is any indicator, it’ll be Tommy Clufetos behind the drum kit.

Check out a rundown of Black Sabbath’s North American summer tour below. Tickets for the newly announced dates will go on sale starting Friday, May 3.
