cauldronLife on the road can be a good experience as a band, but at the same time it can be dangerous, as it’s been proven many times in the past. During their tour with Enforcer, Warbringer and Exmortus, Toronto’s  Cauldron was involved in a van crash after playing in Texas, forcing the cancellation of their appearance for the remainder of the tour.

The band posted the following statement on their Facebook breaking the news:

Sorry to report the unfortunate news of our accident (not at fault btw) on the highway in Texas last night and that we will have to pull out of the remaining 8 tour dates. Ian is recovering in hospital and is expected to make a full recovery, otherwise everyone is going to be ok. We are just happy to be alive at this point. Thanks for your support and to our tour mates Enforcer, Warbringer & Exmortus; we had fun and wish you all the best. Hope to see you all again soon

As they mentioned on their post, the tour is one week away to be over and the rest of the bands will finish their trek as planned. We’re also glad no one got seriously hurt and wish a speedy recovery to Ian and would like to remind all touring bands to drive safe.
