daviddraimanDevice have cancelled tour dates scheduled through the beginning of October so frontman David Draiman can be closer to his wife Lena and soon-to-be-born baby. The decision resulted from complications with the pregnancy, but Draiman has since Tweeted that the two are doing ok.  He still plans to stay close to their side for the remainder of the pregnancy.

The band offered the following statement Wednesday on their Facebook page, announcing the cancelled dates.

“Due to complications with his wife’s pregnancy, David has chosen to stay close to home until the baby is born. All scheduled tour dates between now and the due date of the first week in October have been canceled”

The band is touring to support their self-titled debut album released in April. Device released the second single “You Think You Know,” off the album, just a few weeks ago. No further information has been provided on rescheduling the cancelled dates.
